Three key trends we like this year…

Thanks to social media, trends come and go, but we’ve chosen the three top styles of 2023 that we think will stand the test of time.

Short ‘dos

According to Pinterest short hair is very much of the moment. Whether it’s a French girl bob you’re looking for or a pixie chop, you’ll be reflecting the mood of the season. And if you can’t choose between the two, the ‘Bixie’ has you covered. This hybrid, which is a shaggy bob with layers, was once made popular in the 90s by stars such as Winona Ryder, Natalie Imbruglia and Gwyneth Paltrow and versions have recently been seen on Florence Pugh and Sarah Hyland.

Voluminous Curls

Frame your face with shorter, natural ringlets giving your hair volume and a spring in its step. This ‘do can lead to dryness and frizz so make sure you’re using the right products (such as Curly Locks) and keeping them in good condition.

Layers

Still reigning in the cool stakes, layers take on a number of forms: the butterfly cut is still our personal favourite whilst the shag, the mullet and the wolf cut continue to be forefront. Layers can take on many forms but our preference is the fluffy & voluminous 70s do, followed by a sleeker ‘Rachel’ style.
