Hairstyles for New Year’s Eve

It’s official, we’re leaving the Teens (is that the official term for the last decade??) Whatever you’re doing to bring in the bells make sure you’re doing it with good hair. Here’s how to style it…

If you’re at a street party.

It’s all about the hat. Unless you’re at a street party in the Caribbean, it’s likely that warmth will be the deciding factor. I’d recommend a loose, relaxed wave or curl that feels special but can also sit comfortably underneath a beret, baker boy or classic beanie.

Make sure hair remains sleek, glossy and static free by smoothing over the lengths and ends with my Glam Shine Glossing Serum before blow drying as normal.

If you’re cosy at home by the fire.

Even if you’re not venturing out, it’s nice to add a little sparkle to the night. I’d suggest incorporating a bejewelled headband or slides to your usual look. This means you wont feel overdressed and still comfortable. Make sure your hair feels fresh and gets an extra boost by spritzing with my Big It Up! Dry Shampoo.

If you’re out dancing.

You mean business. My favourite look for this would be a power pony. They look sleek, stylish and work well with so many outfits. Use the Super Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner to hydrate hair and tame flyaway strands.

Slick back hair into a high pony, positioned at the crown and secure using a hair band. Take an inch section from underneath and wrap around the band to disguise it, securing with a kirby grip. Finish by spritzing by Glam Shine Gloss Finishing Spray for extra radiant shine.

The perfect style to swish across a dance floor.

Happy New Year for when it comes gang – hope you bring in 2020 surrounded by people you love!

Cheerisie,
